September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and on Saturday, September 26th, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital held the St. Jude Walk/Run Boston. Dimensional Insight was incredibly honored to be the registration sponsor for the second year in a row. Unlike the previous years, the event was virtual due to COVID-19. However, that did not stop St. Jude and its supporters from making it a successful event. (more…)
Even with the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to affect the lives of all too many people around the world, topics such as racism and inequality remain at the forefront of conversations nowadays- as they should be. In a previous article, we discussed how racism is strongly tied to the healthcare system and how COVID-19 has only further proven that fact. Now we’ll also take a look at how the pandemic has impacted gender inequality. (more…)

By now I am sure you’ve heard the term “social distancing” maybe once, twice, or every time you’ve clicked on the television over the past few weeks. Although this truly is critical, you might find yourself thinking, is this the only action I can take?
Right now, the entire world wants the same thing — to kick this virus to the curb and return to normal life as soon as possible. On Saturday, September 28th, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital held the St. Jude Walk/Run Boston. It was one of more than 60 St. Jude Walk/Runs across the country held over the last several weeks.
Dimensional Insight was proud to sponsor the event and have more than 20 of our employees staff the registration table. Here are some of my reflections on this incredible day. (more…)
One of the core values of Dimensional Insight is that the company at its foundation is committed to first serving its customers and its employees. Our founders, Fred Powers and Stan Zanarotti, believe that happy customers and happy employees are key to success.
Part of that belief system also includes supporting the missions of the industries we serve – which in healthcare, one of the key industries that uses Dimensional Insight technology, means a focus on improving patient care and saving lives.
That belief in supporting the central mission of healthcare organizations is why Dimensional Insight this year has decided to partner with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to sponsor its annual walk/run event in Boston. We couldn’t be more excited to participate in this great fundraiser for St. Jude and raise funds for the patients it serves. (more…)

Here’s how diversity can help organizations in promoting a culture that enables better business decisions. We’ll also look at one ingredient that is critical to building diverse and high-performing teams. (more…)
Thanksgiving is a time of year when many of us eat too much food, watch too much football (though my husband would say that’s not possible), and spend too much money on Black Friday sales. The busyness of the holiday makes it easy to forget what the purpose of the day is all about: gratitude.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the past year at work: the customers I’ve visited, the projects I’ve worked on, and the co-workers I’ve collaborated with. And if you’ll allow me a moment, in the spirit of the holiday, I’d like to share some of the things I’m most thankful for. (more…)
What is “customer culture,” and why should companies pay more attention to it? A recent Forbes article describes customer culture as comprising two components: “the way a company treats its customers” and “the way a company treats its people.” After reading this definition, I immediately thought of our mission statement: “if Dimensional Insight takes care of its customers and employees, then the employees and customers will take care of Dimensional Insight.”
This was a strategy our co-founders Fred Powers and Stan Zanarotti believed in 30 years ago and still applies today. To me, our mission statement embodies this definition of customer culture. But how does one work to build, develop, and maintain good customer culture? Here are three ways companies can work towards prioritizing customer culture, which can lead to employee retention and increased growth and success. (more…)
What is culture? To me, culture is the glue that holds a company together. It’s very important to have a strong company culture in order to succeed and grow. Here at Dimensional Insight, our co-founders Fred Powers and Stan Zanarotti believe if they take care of the customer and employees, then the employees and customers will take care of Dimensional Insight. It’s a strategy that has worked for nearly 30 years.
In my previous blog post, I discussed the importance of building positive culture outside the office, but how does one build and develop good culture inside the workplace? It starts with trust – trust in your organization, colleagues, and skill sets. In order to succeed, organizations need to build and develop a trust-based culture. Here are 3 ways to cultivate a culture of trust inside the workplace. (more…)
