Dimensional Insight is honored to share that we have once again been recognized by KLAS Research as the #1 Data & Analytics Platform. This marks our 11th time earning a Best in KLAS award — an achievement that reflects our ongoing dedication to helping healthcare organizations harness the power of data to improve patient care, optimize operations, and navigate an ever-changing industry.

When KLAS hands out a “Best in KLAS” award, it does so based on interviews and surveys with frontline users—healthcare executives, physicians, nurses, and IT staff—who offer candid feedback on what truly works (and doesn’t work) in their day-to-day operations. Because these insights come directly from the people using our platform, a #1 ranking signifies far more than sales numbers; it demonstrates real-world success and trust.

The results: Excellence in a competitive field

As always, the Data & Analytics Platforms category is a competitive one. This year, Dimensional Insight topped the list with an overall score of 91.7 out of 100. In addition, KLAS Research grades vendors in its six Customer Experience Pillars. Our customers report we have strong relationships, great culture, and extremely loyal customers. In the report, 100% of Dimensional Insight customers responded that the company keeps all promises, and 100% responded they would buy Dimensional Insight’s platform again.

Consistency in a rapidly evolving field

Over the 16 years that KLAS has ranked analytics and business intelligence solutions, we’ve placed either first or a very close second in our category each time. That kind of consistency is rare in a field where regulations, payment models, and technologies seem to shift faster every year. Our sustained leadership underscores two things:

  1. Deep healthcare expertise
We’ve spent years immersed in the intricacies of hospital workflows, reimbursement models, and quality metrics, designing solutions that tackle these challenges head-on.
  2. Commitment to customer collaboration
Rather than simply rolling out updates, we work alongside our customers to ensure each new feature or enhancement directly addresses pressing needs—whether it’s predictive analytics or user-friendly dashboards that help administrators track KPIs at a glance.

Real-world impact on patient care and costs

It’s one thing to talk about analytics in abstract terms, and another to see it transform day-to-day operations. Here are just a few examples showing how our customers have leveraged our platform to make impactful improvements in outcomes and ROI:

  • UConn Health Services has turned to advanced analytics and machine learning to address the rising tide of suicide by “passively” screening patient data from existing electronic health records. By partnering with Dimensional Insight, UConn consolidates disparate data sources into one user-friendly platform, enabling clinicians to track high-risk individuals without relying solely on traditional surveys. This approach not only bridges gaps across multiple EHRs but also provides continuously updated insights, empowering care teams to intervene sooner and more effectively in the fight against suicide.
  • Southern Ohio Medical Center, dramatically improved its financial and operational performance by implementing Dimensional Insight’s analytics solutions. SOMC recovered $500,000 in missed physician charges, identified nearly $3 million in potential lost revenue each year, and reduced expenses by an estimated 1–2%—equating to about $2 million in annual savings. By unifying data from multiple sources into actionable dashboards, SOMC empowered users across the organization to make faster, more informed decisions, ultimately enhancing both cost management and patient care.
  • At Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD), three distinct systems—Allscripts for in-patient revenue cycle, Epic for ambulatory scheduling and revenue cycle, and Cerner for the hospital’s EHR—created reporting challenges because staff needed data from each platform. By deploying Dimensional Insight’s Diver Platform, CHKD consolidated data from all three systems into one environment, enabling faster, more accurate reporting and giving employees a complete view of patient and operational metrics for better, real-time decision-making.

Adapting to healthcare’s ongoing challenges

As the industry continues to evolve—through value-based care models, shifting regulations, and rapidly advancing technology—analytics solutions need to keep pace. We’ve built our platform to integrate seamlessly with multiple EHRs and IT systems, ensuring that no matter where data resides, it’s consolidated into a single, reliable view. By removing the burden of manual data gathering, we free clinicians and administrators to focus on what really matters: providing the highest level of patient care.

Looking ahead, we remain committed to exploring predictive modeling, AI-driven insights, and new ways of visualizing data. Our hope is to make advanced analytics even more accessible to everyone on the care team, from the C-suite to the bedside nurse, so that more informed decisions can be made in real time.

Why it all matters

Our 11th Best in KLAS award is a testament to the strong relationships we’ve built with our customers—and the trust they’ve placed in us to help them solve complex healthcare challenges. Each year, this award inspires us to keep innovating, keep collaborating, and keep delivering an analytics platform that truly empowers healthcare organizations to make smarter, faster decisions.

As always, I’d like to thank our customers for sharing their insights with KLAS year after year. Our success is only possible because of your success!
