One of the premier events in the beverage alcohol industry is back this year in a reimagined way after a four-year pandemic-related hiatus. The Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) is holding its Access LIVE conference April 2-5 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Dimensional Insight will be there, and there are several things we’re looking forward to at the event.
Learning about the latest developments in the industry
A lot has happened in the beverage alcohol industry in the last four years. The ready-to-drink (RTD) market has exploded and there were massive changes in on-premise/off-premise sales that companies had to navigate during the pandemic.
At the conference, attendees will be learning more about the latest trends and changes in a jam-packed agenda. Some of the interesting sessions that we’re looking forward to attending will be on these topics:
- Sustainability and environmental impacts
- Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) in the workplace
- The opportunity in the cannabis industry
- How AI is being used in the industry
From learning → fun
While it’s great to learn about the latest industry developments, there are also a lot of opportunities for networking in a fun and relaxed atmosphere!
Each night at the event features a different party – from Celebrate LIVE (the opening night reception) to TASTE (tasting reception) to Ovation LIVE (closing night reception). There are lots of opportunities to mingle and sample some of the most exciting brands in the business.
There’s also an opportunity for some celebrity sight-seeing at Access LIVE, with an opening keynote by Jason Momoa (a.k.a. Aquaman) and a closing night performance by Nelly. Both stars are at Access LIVE repping their own drink brands, and they’re sure to get a lot of attention!
Renewing old connections and making new ones
One of the great benefits of this show is that we get to see so many of our existing customers, while also being able to make new connections in the industry. This year, we’ll have a Main Street suite, where anyone can come in, kick up their feet, and enjoy a coffee or sandwich while they chat with our staff. Come swing by and say hi to us in suite Sun 4!
Showing off our newest technology
Of course, the time spent in our booth won’t be all food and drinks. We’re also offering our customers and other attendees the chance to see our latest technology up close and ask any questions. In addition to providing demos on our applications such as Program Advisor and Survey Advisor, we will also be showing off our newest interface, which will provide users with a more personalized analytics experience, and allow them to get to the data they need to do their jobs more quickly and easily.

Kathy is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and a member of Women of the Vine & Spirits.
