What Are Stamps?

A stamp is a template that defines a collection of portlets and presents them in a predetermined layout similar in appearance to a dashboard. Stamp dashboards provide context for interpreting Measure Factory measures.

Each of the Measure Factory applications include a set of stamps that are designed to display relevant KPIs. In addition, developers can create custom stamps and store their layout and style in configuration files. You can use a stamp portlet to reproduce a version of the stamp with a specified measure.

The following example shows data for the Overall ALOS measure.

If the DivePort self service feature is enabled, you can access a self service page that is for your use only. On this page, you can create a new version of the stamp using measure data that you specify. For example, to instantly reproduce the portlet in the above example to show Acute ALOS data, all you need to specify is the Acute ALOS measure, and select the type of stamp.
