About Pop-up Click Actions

You can use pop-up click actions to display target portlets that are hidden by default. Hiding portlets enables you to optimize the available page space.

You can use any portlet type as the target that displays in the pop-up window.

Example

NOTE: The pop-up click action displays the hidden portlet just as it was created. Data and other settings are not changed. If the target page has printing enabled, a printer icon appears on the header. Click the icon to open a context menu with available print options.

Pop-up Click actions can be added to the following types of portlets:

• Background
• Image
• Table of Contents

NOTE: When this click action is selected, the Portlet Instance Settings on the target page shows a message that indicates that the portlet Appears as a Pop-up from <id>.
