Setting Audit Logging Trigger Dimensions and Columns

To customize audit logs, you can specify which dimensions trigger a log event and which columns are captured. You can set these options in the project or folder level.

  1. In Workbench, right-click the project or folder in Workbench Explorer and select Edit Access Control.

  2. Click the Audit Rules tab.

  3. In the Condition box, select the condition to apply the trigger to. Options are Group, User, Property, and All Users.
  4. Determine which dimensions you want to set as triggers, and enter them in the Trigger Dimension box, separated by commas but no spaces. For example:

    Account ID,Case ID,MRN,Patient Name

  5. Determine which columns you want to include in the audit log, and enter them in the Columns box, separated by commas but no spaces. For example:

    Account ID,Case ID,MRN,Patient Name,Admit Date,Case Date,Census Date,Diagnosis,Discharge Date,ED Arrival Date,ED Departure Date,Patient Birth Date,Patient City,Patient ZipCode,Previous ED Departure Date,PrincipalDiagnosis,Procedure,Procedure Date,Service Date
