What are the Elements of a DivePlan?
A DivePlan represents one of many different ways to look at the information stored in a model or cBase. You can create multiple DivePlans to tailor presentation of the information stored in models and cBases to different types of audiences. A DivePlan, depending on the DivePlan type, can contain the following elements:
- Models, cBases, and cPlans
- DivePlan types (for example, Consolidated MultiModel)
- File Lookups
- Named Group Lookups
- Dynamic Dimensions
- Console Categories
- Aliases
There are additional elements to a DivePlan (for example, time series and calculations) that you create and maintain in a client but are saved to a DivePlan.
The following table shows where you can create and edit the different elements of a DivePlan:
| Set... | DiveMaster | ProDiver |
|---|---|---|
| Models | x | |
| Lookups | x | |
| Name Group Lookups | x | |
| Dynamic Dimensions | x | x |
| Categories | x | |
| Summary Columns | x | |

| Time Series* | x | |
| QuickViews | x |
* Time Series for cBases can also be defined in cPlans. See About Spectre Time Series.
