Using the Tabular Context-Sensitive Menu

A context-sensitive menu is available on ProDiver tabular displays. You can use it to perform functions on the dive window.

To access the context-sensitive menu, right-click on the tabular display. The following options are available:

Tabular Context-Sensitive Menu

Menu Item Description
Copy Window Copies the contents of the active dive window to the clipboard.
Add/Edit Column Depending on the location of the pointer, opens either the Add Column dialog box or the Edit Column dialog box.
Select Columns Opens the Select Columns dialog box, which you can use to add available columns to the display or hide selected columns in the display.
Select All Selects the contents of the active dive window.
Flip Axes Swaps the vertically-displayed information with the horizontally-displayed information in a tabular or cross tabular display—The columns become rows and the rows become columns.
Sort Up Sorts the display on the dive window in ascending order of the values in the selected column. If no column is selected, the sort is performed on the leftmost column.
Sort Down Sorts the display on the dive window in descending order of the values in the selected column. If no column is selected, the sort is performed on the leftmost column.
Find Opens the Find dialog box for the selected column. If no column is selected, the find is performed on the leftmost column.
Edit Info Window Opens the Edit Window Information dialog box, in which you can change the name shown in the title bar of the dive window, or select or remove QuickView associations.
Convert to QuickView Opens the Edit Dimension QuickView dialog box, populated with the active dive window cBase or model name and dimension name.
Convert Parents to QuickView Converts all parent dive windows of the active window to QuickViews, setting appropriate dependencies based on the order of the dive.
Copy Calculation Reference Used when creating report palettes to copy calculation references to the new palette.
Copy Reporter Reference Item Used when creating report palettes to copy reporter reference items to the new palette.
Copy Window Dive Reference String Used when creating report palettes to copy the window dive reference string to the new palette.
Create User Defined Dimension Opens the Create User Defined Dimension dialog box, which you can use to create and define a UDD for use in this session.
Edit User Defined Dimension Opens the Edit User Defined Dimension dialog box, which you can use to edit existing UDDs.
Commit User Defined Dimension Transforms the newly-created UDD to an info field and promotes it to a dynamic dimension in the console.
Close User Defined Dimension Removes a UDD from the dive window.
