ProDiver Toolbar Options

The toolbar provides shortcuts to the most commonly used ProDiver features. Placing the pointer on an icon produces a tooltip description of the shortcut function and a fuller description appears in the status bar beneath the dive window.

NOTE: You can customize the toolbar by removing icons that you do not use or adding other available specialized toolbar icons. For more information, see Customizing the ProDiver Toolbar.

Toolbar Icon Descriptions

The toolbar displays the following icons by default.

Icon Corresponding Menu Item Description
Edit > Undo Reverts the last action.
Edit > Redo Reapplies the last action that was reverted using the Undo icon or command.
File > Open Opens the Open File dialog box.
Open DiveBook icon. Window > DiveBook Opens the Open DiveBook dialog box.
File > Print Opens the Print dialog box, which you can use to print the active window.
File > Print Preview Opens the Print Preview dialog box.
Display > Tabular Switches the active window to tabular view.
Display > MultiTab Creates a MultiTab view in the active window.
Display > CrossTab Opens the Cross Tabular dialog box, which you can use to create a Cross Tabular view in the active window.
Display > MultiCrossTab Opens the MultiCross Tabular dialog box, which you can use to create a MultiCross Tabular view in the active window.
Report icon Display > Report Opens the Default Report dialog box, which you can use to create a report from the active window.
Display > Graphs Opens the Graph creation wizard, which you can use to create a graph from the active window.
Organize > Flip Axes Flips the x and y axes of the active window display.
Organize > Focus Selects multiple items in the active window and focuses attention on those items; click again to undo.
Organize > Group Selects multiple items in the active window and views those items as a single group; click again to undo.
Organize > Sort Up Reorders the selected column values in ascending order.
Organize > Sort Down Reorders the selected column values in descending order.
Edit > Find Opens the Find dialog box to specify search criteria for the active window.
Edit > Time Series Control Panel Opens the Time Series dialog box to create a time series on a date dimension (advanced).
Edit > Period Comparison Opens the Period Comparison dialog box to create a period comparison on a date dimension (advanced).
Window > Hide/Show Console Hides or displays the Console.

Additional Toolbar Icon Descriptions

The following shortcut icons are available, but are hidden by default.

Display > Graphs > Basic Plots > Line Plot Opens the Graph creation wizard with the Line graph type selected.
Display > Graphs > Cross Plots > Line CrossPlot Opens the Graph creation wizard with the Cross Line graph type selected.
Display > Graphs > Stack Plots Opens the Graph creation wizard with the Stack graph type selected.
Display > Graphs > Scatter Plots Opens the Graph creation wizard with the Scatter Plots graph type selected.
Display > Graphs > Pie Plots Opens the Graph creation wizard with the Pie graph type selected.
Display > Graphs > Maps Opens the Graph creation wizard with the Map graph type selected.
Display > Graphs > Calendar Plots Opens the Graph creation wizard with the Calendar graph type selected.
Window > Show/Hide Info Window

Opens/closes a separate window that displays the current information fields.

NOTE: This option is disabled if any cBases are open in the console.
