Splitting and Unsplitting the Dive Window
You can use the split window feature to view two displays of the same dive. The split can be horizontal or vertical.
Only one of the views in a split window is active.
- The active window has a dark blue border.
- You can click the inactive window to make it active.
- You can change the view of the active window. In the example here, the active window was changed to a graph view.
- Some actions, such as add column, cannot be done on a split window. Unsupported options appear as unavailable menu items.
- If you dive from a split window, the resulting child window inherits the formatting of the active window at the time of the dive and is a single window view.
To split the dive window:
On the menu bar, select Window > Split Horizontal (or Split Vertical).
The dive window splits into two identical views.
To return to a single window view:
On the menu bar, select Window > Unsplit Window.
The inactive view closes.
