Printing a Dive Window

To print a copy of the active dive window, do one of the following:

  • On the ProDiver menu bar, select File > Print.
  • On the toolbar, click the Print icon .

NOTE: When you click the Print icon, the active dive window is automatically printed on your default printer using default settings. Selecting File > Print opens the Print Closeddialog box, which you can use to select print options.

In the Printer box:

  • Name: Select a printer or other destination (such as Fax or Document Writer) to send your file.
  • Properties: Opens the Properties dialog box for the named print destination. Option settings in this dialog box override ProDiver-embedded settings.
  • Page Setup: Opens the Page Setup dialog box, in which you can set common print options.
  • Print to file: Saves the active window in a file, retaining the formatting and layout information. This option requires appropriate drivers.

In the Page range box, select All or specify the range of pages that you want to print.

In the Copies box, enter the number of copies that you want to print, and select Collate if you want the printer to arrange the pages in the correct order.

Print Properties

You can set printer-specific properties including document orientation, the number of pages per sheet of paper, paper source, quality settings, whether to print on both sides of the paper, or use color.

Page Setup

To customize the printed output, select Page Setup. You can specify page orientation, paper size, margins, and add headers and footers. Page Setup is also available from the File menu (File > Page Setup).

Print Preview

To see how the printed output will look, select Preview. Print preview is also available from the File menu (File > Print Preview).
