Adding a Model Footer Item

You can use the $MODEL_FOOTER variable to insert into the report any information contained in the footer of a cBase or model at build time. Additionally, if this report is based on a multimodel DivePlan, ProDiver inserts any information contained in the footer of the last model in a multimodel DivePlan. Since most cBases or models do not contain information in the footer, this topic shows how you can insert a text string using this variable.

Complete the following steps:

1. Open a cBase or model and build a tabular report or open the inserting_metadata marker if previously saved.

2. Unlock the report, and click the Add Item icon.

3. For the Item Type, select Text.

4. Select the $MODEL_FOOTER variable.

5. Enter Page 1 after the variable.

   

6. On the Position tab, select Page Right.

7. Click OK to view the report.

   

8. Click File > Save Marker as inserting_metadata to continue using this report in other topics.
