Adding Info Name and Value Items

The Info Name and Value Items are available from the Add Item dialog box in tabulars that contain info fields. When you select Info Name as an item, ProDiver displays the value of the info name in the report. This topic describes how to create a tabular with an info name, convert the tabular to a report, and add the Info Name and its value as a report column.

Complete the following steps to add an Others value as a report item:

  1. Select a server with a project that contains a sales model with Customer and Product Family dimensions, and info fields.
  2. For example, locate and open demo.drl.mdl using ProDiver.
  3. On the Console, double-click Customer.
  4. On the dive window, click 502 -- Hudson Mike Distributing.
  5. On the Console, double-click Product Family.
  6. On the dive window, use Shift+Click to select Butter and Cheese.
  7. Click the Focus icon.
  8. Double-click the blank column to the right of the Revenue column to open the Add Column dialog box.
  9. Select Display All as the Info Columns field.
  10. Click Address1 in the Info Columns box.

  11. Click OK Closedto add Address1, the Info Name, as the column heading, and 1297 Dynamic St as the Info Value in the dive window.

  12. Click the Report icon to open the Default Report dialog box.

  13. Click OK to accept the default values, then unlock and Closeddisplay the report.
