Editing or Deleting an Environment

To customize the functionality and appearance of an environment, you can update the settings in the Environment Settings dialog box.

  1. On the DivePort title bar, select Admin > Environments.

    The Environments Closeddialog box opens.

  2. Click the Closedchevron next to the environment that you want to edit.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. Edit each property value as you like, and then click OK.

  1. On the DivePort title bar, click Admin > Environments.

  2. Select Environments.

  3. Click the Closedchevron next to the environment that you want to edit.

  4. Select Access.

  5. Add, edit, or remove access to users or groups as you like, and then click OK.

  1. On the DivePort title bar, click Admin > Environments.

  2. Click the Closedchevron next to the environment that you want to duplicate.

  3. Select Duplicate.

    The Duplicate Environment Closedconfirmation message appears.

  4. In the New name box, enter a unique name for the duplicate environment.

  5. In the New ID box, enter a unique ID for the duplicate environment.

    NOTE: If you do not add a new name and ID, the new environment is created with the same name and ID as the original environment.

  6. If you are sure that you want to make a full copy of the environment, click Yes, duplicate it.

    The duplicated environment is added to the portal and appears on the Environments list.

  7. Click OK to close the Environments dialog box.

  2. Click the Closedchevron next to the environment that you want to delete.

  3. Select Delete.

  4. If you are sure that you want to delete the environment, click Yes, delete it.

    CAUTION: You cannot undo the deletion. However, you might be able to recover some of the pages from the portaldb.json file.

  5. Click OK to close the Environments dialog box.
