Adding Stamps to a Self Service Page

Your DivePort administrator can create a specially formatted self service page that you can use to add stamp dashboards using Measure Factory data. When you add a stamp to a self service page, you specify a measure, any filters that you want to include as QuickViews, and a stamp template. All configuration information and formatting is defined in the stamp template. You can add multiple stamps to your self service page, and choose different measures and stamp templates for each.

To add a stamp to your self service page:

Using the simplified interface

Browse to your self service page.

TIP: If a new self service page is totally blank, refresh the page.
On the upper-right corner of the page, click the Add measures icon .

The Add Measures dialog box opens.
Do one of the following:
- Select a chevron next to the name of a category to expand the list of measures.
- Select Expand all to display the names of all available measures.
  
  TIP: To see more information about a measure, select the information icon that appears when you place the pointer on the measure name.
Select the check box next to the measures that you want to use for a stamp.
Select OK.

If a default stamp is defined for the selected measures, the stamps appear on the page. Proceed to step 7.

If not, the available stamp types page opens.
Select a stamp.

The selected measures appear as stamps.
To add QuickViews to the page, on the menu bar, click the Manage Filters icon .

The Manage Filters dialog box opens.
Select Add filter(s).

A list of QuickViews categories appears.
Do one of the following:
- Expand the QuickView category to open the list of values.
- Select Expand All to expand all QuickView categories lists.
Select one or more QuickView values.
Select OK.

A list of the selected filters appears.
Select OK.

The QuickViews appear at the top of your self service page.

Using the My Library interface

Select My Library and navigate to an environment containing a self service page.
Select the New Self Service Page icon.

The Add Measures dialog box opens.
Do one of the following:
- Click a chevron next to the name of a category to expand the list of measures.
- Select Expand all to display the names of all available measures.
  
  TIP: To see more information about a measure, select the information icon that appears when you place the pointer on the measure name.
Select the check box next to the measures that you want to use for stamps.
Select OK.

If a default stamp is defined for the selected measures, the stamps appear on the page. Proceed to step 7.

Otherwise, the available stamp types appear.
Select a stamp type.

The selected measures appear as stamps.
(Optional) To add QuickViews to the page, on the menu bar, click the Manage Filters icon .

The Manage Filters page opens.
Select Add filter(s).

A list of QuickViews categories appear.
Do one of the following:
- Expand the QuickView category to open the list of values.
- Select Expand All to expand all QuickView categories.
Select one or more QuickView values.
Select OK.

A list of the selected filters appears.
Select OK.

The QuickViews appear at the top of your self service the page.
