DivePort AI Tools

As of DivePort 8.0(11), AI integration is supported. The AI chatbot implemented in DivePort uses tools to interact with data on a given DivePort page. Information about the available tools is listed below, for reference.

NOTE: For these tools to interact with data on a page or in a portlet, you must select that page or portlet's Allow the AI to access data checkbox.

Gets details about the current page. Those details are configured as a JSON object, and it includes basic metadata about some of the portlets on the page (data source, dimensions, measures, quickviews). Not every portlet is supported yet. Currently supported portlet types are:

  • Measures

  • Matrix

  • QuickView

  • Analysis Table

  • Stamp

  • Chart

Portlets that are hidden will not be described to the AI.

Gets information about a particular data source. That tool returns a list of all dimensions and all measures, and includes the description and definition of each measure. This allows the AI to answer questions about measures without needing an explicit prompt with the metadata.

Sends the user to another page in the same shelf. This is only available when using My Library.
