About Gauge Indicators

A gauge indicator is a circle or arc that uses color to indicate quantity, or a needle to indicate the data value. They are useful for at-a-glance data value comparisons. Some gauges use color to indicate up to four threshold values.

There are six options for gauge indicators:

NOTE: Circular gauges and fill gauges indicate a value in terms of percentage. They do not color sections of the chart different colors based on the thresholds. Instead, they indicate progress or activity.
