Planning an Environment

An environment is a collection of portal pages that share the same settings. Environments can be used to organize your portal and regulate user access. For example, you can create separate environments for sales, finance, and marketing information.

Environments can be developed, moved, copied, organized, and reorganized as the portal develops, and objectives and user requests evolve.
