Peter Birdsong

Peter Birdsong is the Sales Analyst for Georgia Crown Distributing Co. and covers the states of Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee for the company. He started out in sales with Georgia Crown 13 years ago and has been in his current role for 6 years. Peter is responsible for implementing and developing programs, processes and analytics that help support the sales force in their day-to-day activities in the field. With this development, he works with all departments of the company to ensure fluidity between sales and other departments. Peter also trains the sales force on new technology and programs brought into the company to ensure full understanding and capabilities of available tools.

Joseph Canina
Joseph Canina is a Performance Management Consultant at Eversource Energy, a Fortune 500 company. Upon graduating with a BA in English, he began his career in Computer Operations and Application Systems development, then later utilized his systems experience from a business perspective. Throughout his career, Joseph has endeavored to bridge the gap between business needs and information technology. He began his current position at Eversource implementing its first performance application system while also directly providing performance reporting support for business areas. He was an early entrant into the cannabis industry with multiple eCommerce, CRM, B2B Automation, and BI builds across Cultivation, CPG, and Distribution models. Prior to finding joy in the wild west that is cannabis, Sam led Marketing efforts across Real Estate, Life Sciences, CPG, Video Game, and Entertainment industries. He currently focuses on solving the problem of delivering hyper simplified Digital solutions in a new, chaotic industry that support revenue growth. Sam is also a Pacific Coast Business Times 40 under 40 Recipient.

Mary Jane Darling
With over 30 years of healthcare IT experience, MJ Darling has worked with hospitals, health plans, providers, vendors and consulting firms to develop healthcare applications, implement technology solutions and provide data analytics and business intelligence. She is passionate about delivering insights through data and has developed the Data Analytics Program at CHKD, where they are focused on deploying an analytics-focused data management platform and self-service bi tools within a data governance framework.

George Dealy
Vice President of Healthcare Applications, Dimensional Insight
As vice president of healthcare applications, George is responsible for Dimensional Insight’s product direction in the healthcare market. His past experience working with healthcare organizations to streamline information delivery mechanisms gives George a unique perspective on the challenges all organizations face in effectively distributing business-critical information to varied user sets. George has more than 25 years of information technology experience with past senior management roles in business development, product management, professional services, and sales at PatientKeeper, e.Piphany, and Sybase. He holds a master’s in computer science from Union College and a bachelor’s in applied economics from Cornell University.

Kathleen Fitzgerald
Clinical Performance Improvement Specialist, Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System
Kathleen is a Clinical Performance Improvement Specialist at Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System in Salinas, California. Originally from Detroit, she started her career in automotive quality before moving into healthcare.
In her current role Kathleen leads quality improvement teams as well as championing the expansion of Dimensional Insight® within the organization. She is a Registered Nurse, a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), a Data Analytics Certified Professional, and she holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB).

Shaun Foaden
Managing Director, Dimensional Insight Netherlands
Shaun Foaden is Managing Director of Dimensional Insight Netherlands. He spent 25 years working in industry and consulting before joining the company in 2011. His experience covers R&D and New Product Development in the FMCG industry, and management and business processing consulting in the manufacturing and processing industries. Shaun was born in Durban, South Africa and holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, an MBA from Warwick Business School, and a PhD in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.

Keith Garvey
Keith has been teaching technology for the past 25 years. Whether you call it business intelligence, decision support, or data science, he enjoys helping people learn how to extract true insight from their information sources. Keith is also an accomplished snow sports enthusiast and has been teaching alpine skiing since 2005.

Amy Grollman
Amy Grollman is Senior Director, Data Architecture and Software Engineering, for the National Alcohol Beverage Control Association (NABCA). Amy has been with NABCA for over 27 years and her responsibilities include working with control jurisdictions and industry members to enhance sales and inventory data distributed via NABCA’s Diver Platform and improve data processing via EDI and via the Association’s web-based Price Quotation Reporting System (PQRS) tool. Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from University of Maryland, University College.

Demilade Haastrup
Demilade Haastrup, PharmD., RPh., doubles as a Clinical Pharmacist & Quality Assurance/Informatics Coordinator for the Division of Pharmacy at Children’s National Hospital in Washington DC. Demilade is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and Howard University where he obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy degree and has since been a licensed healthcare professional in the District of Columbia and Maryland. He is responsible for the implementation of integration and expansion projects between the Pharmacy department and rest of the enterprise. At CNH, Demilade is responsible for data aggregation, data analysis, and data reporting to upper management and the end users — the frontline staff — to ultimately ensure process and technology optimization to improve the quality of service provided to patients. Ultimately, Demilade is able to drive data-based conversations and platform validation sessions utilizing his hybrid experience to answer the question: does this data/report translate to what truly occurs frontline?

Jørn Halvorsen
Jorn Halvorsen is the BI Manager at Mestergruppen. He has a background as a self-employed consultant for 20 years, and the last 8 years he has been working with business intelligence at Mestergruppen, a company in the building materials business. Mestergruppen has grown from a small market share in Norway to have the highest market share in Norway and Sweden, and the revenue has been increased by 8x compared to 2014. Jorn and his team does all the development on the Diver Platform in-house, and support the complete business from the person receiving goods at the warehouse to financial reporting.

Lieneke Happel
Lieneke Happel is Commercial Director for Dimensional Insight Netherlands. Prior to joining Dimensional Insight, she was Managing Director of the e-commerce division within the Whistl Group in the UK. She also worked at Whistl as Group IT Director, and in that role, she was a direct customer of Dimensional Insight. In the different executive roles Lieneke has fulfilled throughout her career, she has mastered a deep understanding of primary operational processes and organizational behavior. Lieneke is a firm believer that people, process, and technology have to work together and that progress is made by experimenting and taking incremental steps rather than striving for perfection.

Julie Lamoureux
Senior Healthcare Consultant, Dimensional Insight
Julie Lamoureux is a Senior Healthcare Consultant at Dimensional Insight and an expert in performance and quality improvement. Her role is to support performance improvement efforts by assisting organizations to operationalize their measures and to create dashboards that monitor key metrics. Her experience working as a statistician in performance improvement in a hospital gave her the skills necessary to assist healthcare organizations in their data driven decision making efforts.

Scot McDermid
Scot has been an IT trainer for more than 12 years. Prior to joining Dimensional Insight, he worked as a trainer in New York, where he trained college graduates and career-changers for roles in the investment banking industry, teaching RDBMS technology, object-oriented programming, as well as business intelligence and data warehousing. Prior to that, Scot was a stay-at-home-dad in the San Francisco bay area and previously worked as a programmer working for a consulting company in Vancouver, Canada.

Jennifer A. Monteleone
Jennifer A. Monteleone, Senior Manager, Decision Support, joined RWJBarnabas Health Combined Medical Group, part of New Jersey’s RWJBarnabas Health system, two years ago, bringing her 18 years of experience at Saint Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. At RWJBarnabas Health, she leads her team in data analytics and reporting, and tracking key performance indicators. She excels at developing best practices to enhance team productivity and creating thoughtful reports critical to management decision-making. As a volunteer EMT for the North Brunswick, New Jersey, First Aid & Rescue Squad, Jennifer is certified in first aid, CPR, trauma, and other emergency response skills, and also volunteers as an active member of Rolling Thunder Inc., committed to seeking full accountability for Prisoners of War and advocating for veterans and their families.

Fred Powers
Founder & CEO, Dimensional Insight
As co-founder and chief executive officer of Dimensional Insight, Fred leads the overall strategy of the company. He co-founded Dimensional Insight in 1989 with Stan Zanarotti. Fred’s philosophy is that by supporting the customer and employee, the customer and employee will support Dimensional Insight. Prior to co-founding Dimensional Insight, Fred served as a U.S. Naval Officer at the Pentagon. As a defense contractor, he engineered database development projects relating to the status of forces, and at Honeywell, he designed information systems for business processes relating to sales, marketing, and service.

Kathy Sucich
Vice President of Marketing, Dimensional Insight
Kathy is vice president of marketing at Dimensional Insight. She has spent her career in a variety of communications, public relations, and marketing roles. Kathy also hosts the Smarter Healthcare Podcast and is secretary and communications chair for the Massachusetts chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

Sean Tan
Sean Tan, PharmD., RPh., is the Director of Pharmacy Operations at Children’s National Hospital (CNH), Washington DC – a 323 bed inpatient hospital with more than seven off-site locations in the Greater DC area. Prior to Children’s, he served as an Informatics Pharmacist in New York Presbyterian-Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where he built robust data analytic tools for the Pharmacy department to assist daily operational decisions. At CNH, Sean is responsible for safe, efficient, and timely provision of pharmaceutical care by utilizing technology and automation. Through the use of data, Sean and his operations team are responsible for optimizing staff efficiency, enhancing medication processes and implementing safe strategies to deliver the highest quality of patient care.

Jeff Williams
Leveraging a prior life as a CPA with 25-years of ERP experience working on a wide range of SAP projects, Jeff leads a talented team of IT professionals providing solutions across Empire Distributors’ 13 sales offices and 9 warehouses in GA, TN, NC, and CO. An early decision to migrate Dimensional Insight’s ProDiver from multiple state-based on-premise installations to a single instance DI Cloud solution proved to be a key success factor as the team rolled out SAP throughout the organization over multiple years. Migration of key applications to the cloud has allowed the team to focus on core competencies without the burden of managing on-premise applications and all that goes with that model.

Stan Zanarotti
Founder & CTO, Dimensional Insight
As co-founder and chief technology officer of Dimensional Insight, Stan is responsible for leading technology development. Stan co-founded Dimensional Insight with Fred Powers in 1989. His programming expertise allowed for the development of what would become Dimensional Insight’s fully integrated end-to-end enterprise business intelligence platform, Diver Platform.
