It’s that time of year again when we take a retrospective look at the year gone by before we start looking ahead to 2019. We had a busy year here on the blog, where we wrote about a wealth of topics ranging from predictive analytics to blockchain to workplace culture to customer successes.

#6: Dimensional Insight Book Club: The Culture Code

In 2018, we started the Dimensional Insight Book Club, in which members of our staff read a book and share the learnings with our blog readers. We had a great year of book selections, including the book featured in our #6 most popular blog post, The Culture Code.

The Culture Code talks about organizational culture and how a positive culture can improve business results. It also gives practical tips on how companies can improve their culture.

#7: How Healthcare Organizations Are Using Analytics to Promote Patient Safety

As part of Patient Safety Awareness Week, we wrote this blog post highlighting ways some of our customers are using analytics in their patient safety efforts. These three customers (Sarasota Memorial and Baptist Health South Florida) are all using Diver to support patient safety and quality initiatives and are seeing improved patient outcomes as a result.

#8: Takeaways from the 2018 Gartner Data & Analytics Summit

In March, we attended the Gartner Data & Analytics Summit in London, and this blog post had some key takeaways from the show. Among Gartner’s top agenda items: 1) the importance of data trust; 2) the emergence of AI and augmented analytics; and 3) the importance of data literacy in organizations.
