POC

POC Delivery Methodology

The following steps outline the process by which DI can deliver a "proof of concept" so you and your team can determine if our software products are the right fit for your organization.

1. IDENTIFY BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS

Our consultants perform a review of your business information requirements as they relate to your business processes. This review encompasses your reporting mechanisms of the past, identification of "pain points," location of required data, and involvement of IT/IS staff in all aspects of planning. A focused information requirement is then identified as the subject for a "proof of concept" project.

2. APPLY DATA KNOWLEDGE

This step involves the analysis of the data and its locations. The relationships that must exist in order to meet reporting and data analysis requirements are defined, and the access mechanisms to the data are established. This step will reveal the complexity and volumes of data that the new system will be designed to handle.

3. TRANSFORM DATA

Once the data analysis and relationships are finalized, data is extracted from source databases. DI will transform your data into DI Models. The Models that will be used for business analysis and reporting are created and tested to insure required performance and information delivery.

4. DESIGN DIVEPORT LAYOUT, INTERFACES, VIEWS, REPORTS, GRAPHS

Initial user deliverables, including a 6.2 DivePort Portal are created and tested. Report, chart, graph, and other displays are created, tested and refined.

5. IMPLEMENTATION & FEEDBACK

Upon successful creation of the displays and reports, the POC system is delivered via remote access to a DI hosted server. You will be provided with secure logons and provided "hands-on" training to get you started. During the trial period, feedback sessions will be scheduled periodically to assist you with your evaluation of the DI solution.
