Dimensional Insight customer Kalispell Regional Medical discusses business intelligence solutions for MEDITECH's Data Repository featured in the July edition of the MEDITECH Community Bulletin.
Kalispell Regional Medical Center (KRMC) was highlighted in the July edition of the MEDITECH Community Bulletin, a periodic newsletter for users of the MEDITECH Health Information System. KRMC's Application Specialist Pat Korolog-Mulberger and the Pharmacy Informatics Specialist Suzanne Catalfomo, shared their MUSE International 2009 presentation entitled, "Surviving the Data Jungle - A Team Approach for Beginners Using MEDITECH's Data Repository" with the MEDITECH Community. The presentation focused on Kalispell's challenge of obtaining aggregated data and providing it to the necessary departments without hindering IT resources. After extensive research Kalispell implemented Dimensional Insight's, The Diver Solution™ to assist with this challenge which allows multiple departments to build their own reports thus alleviating the need to rely solely on the IT department for report requests.

Dimensional Insight's, The Diver Solution™ software allows organizations to improve decision making in three steps; data collection, data assembly and information delivery. Data is extracted and collected with DI's Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) tool. Once the required data has been collected The Diver Solution™ automatically refreshes user views any time new source data becomes available.
