United General Hospital leverages their MEDITECH™ investment by integrating data into Dimensional Insight's business intelligence portal interface, empowering their users with actionable information.
Dimensional Insight announced today that United General Hospital of Sedro-Woolley, Washington has selected Dimensional Insight’s end-to-end suite of business intelligence software, The Diver Solution™, to complement their existing MEDITECH™ investment. By integrating MEDITECH modules and other disparate source systems, United General Hospital is able to gain a better understanding of their operational performance from an enterprise-wide perspective.
United General Hospital has been a MEDITECH™ user since 2002. Over the past several years they found that their existing reporting and analytics process provided them with ample reports, however, it did not allow end users to create analytical reports themselves without the help of a third party or IS involvement. By deploying Dimensional Insight’s intuitive reporting and analytics suite, the organization is establishing a culture around self-service reporting that allows users to quickly obtain answers on their own by navigating through the data set with a simple point-and-click interface.
“We have a large amount of diverse data sources. Being able to look at all of our data within a single system is key. Diver’s data integration capabilities allow us to integrate all our data throughout each of these systems,” states Bob McMannis, PACS Administrator at United General Hospital. “With minimal training we were able to get a basic understanding of the product.
Our organization now has the ability to create ad-hoc reports by 'diving' into our data from any starting point to obtain any end point desired."
