Fred Powers, Cofounder,
Chief Executive Officer

Fred Powers cofounded Dimensional Insight, Inc. in 1989 with Stan Zanarotti. Prior to establishing DI, Fred served as a U.S. Naval Officer at the Pentagon where he designed the Naval Command Center’s first graphical presentation system for understanding readiness and asset data. As a defense contractor, Fred engineered database development projects relating to the status of forces, and at Honeywell, he designed information systems for business processes relating to sales, marketing, and service. Powers holds a BS in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and completed an in-house MBA program while at Honeywell. He has lectured at MIT Sloan School of Management, Boston University, Babson College, Sao Paolo University, and New York University on the application of dashboards, reporting, and analytics technology in business.

Stan Zanarotti, Cofounder,
Chief Technology Officer

Stan Zanarotti cofounded Dimensional Insight with Fred Powers in 1989. Stan's programming expertise allowed for the development of what would become DI's fully integrated, end-to-end enterprise business intelligence platform. This revolutionary platform allowed end users to look at organizational data without pre-programmed views or query sequences. Stan currently holds patents on the technology utilized in Dimensional Insight's solution set. He has been actively involved in the development plans of the organization since its inception and currently manages Dimensional Insight's Research & Development team in his role as Chief Technology Officer. Stan received his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and received his Masters in Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

George Dealy, Vice President,
Business Development

George is responsible for cultivating new market and product opportunities for Dimensional Insight. His past experience working with healthcare organizations to streamline information delivery mechanisms gives George a unique perspective on the challenges all organizations face in effectively distributing business-critical information to varied user sets. George has 25 years of information technology experience with past senior management roles in business development, product management, professional services, and sales at PatientKeeper, e.Piphany, and Sybase. He holds a MS in Computer Science from Union College and a BS in Applied Economics from Cornell University.

Roger Williams, Vice President,
Consulting Services

Roger manages DI's entire professional services organization and is directly involved with the support and installation of DI products and services. He has over 25 years of experience in decision-support systems, enabling achievement of strategic and tactical business plans. Prior to joining DI, Roger was Information Systems Co-Director at US Healthcare (now Aetna Healthcare), where he provided leadership, direction, and support in the use of decision-support tools and multidimensional database products. Roger has a BS in Finance and Mineral Economics from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from Drexel University.

Kathy Sweet,
Chief Administrative Officer

Kathy leads Dimensional Insight’s Finance, Human Resources, Legal, and Administrative activities. Kathy joined Dimensional Insight in 1993 and has been instrumental in building the core infrastructure of the organization. In addition to her role as Chief Administrative Officer, Kathy also sits on the board of DI-Asia, Dimensional Insight’s corporate arm in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to joining DI, Kathy worked in various marketing, administrative, and finance roles in the manufacturing, service, and biotech industries. She holds a BS in Business Management from Lesley College.

Monique Schmidt, Vice President,
International Sales

Monique has been instrumental in establishing Dimensional Insight as a key player in the business intelligence space throughout the European, Latin American, and Asia-Pacific markets. Prior to joining Dimensional Insight, Monique held various positions within the US Army through civilian assignments overseas. She also worked for Digital Equipment Corporation and Data General in various senior roles and was responsible for international business activities and market development. Monique was born and educated in France and holds a BA in English, from College de Jeunes Filles, Talence. She also obtained the prestigious Certificate of Import/Export from the English Chamber of Commerce in Paris.

John Stoveken, Vice President,
Hosted Application Services

John is responsible for managing the installation and support of DI's hosted business intelligence application. John oversees DI's consulting and support team to provide hosted application customers with an accurate and reliable source for their information delivery needs. With over 20 years of business, analytical, and reporting expertise, John joined the company to initiate DI's presence in the ASP/On-Demand BI space. Prior to joining DI, John managed Decision Support systems at Perkin-Elmer Corporation. John has a MS from Yale University, and BS from the University of Vermont.

Bernard Seban, Vice President,
Channel Sales

Bernard is responsible for identifying partnership opportunities for Dimensional Insight by evaluating and recruiting new ISVs, marketing/channel partners, and VARs. Prior to managing DI's channel sales, Bernard supervised DI's technical support group and provided the sales organization with pre-sales technical assistance. Before joining Dimensional Insight, Bernard worked at Data General Corporation for 20 years in senior sales support and technical positions. Bernard holds a BS in Business Administration from Institut Superieur de Gestion in Paris, France.

Ed O'Brien, Vice President,
Healthcare Sales

Ed has been with DI since 1998. He held various sales positions prior to being promoted to Vice President of Healthcare Sales in 2008. During his time with the company, he has been actively involved in the implementation of business analytics solutions for large and medium-sized healthcare facilities, systems, and managed care organizations. Ed has worked closely with DI's healthcare clients to pursue and implement innovative approaches to data integration and delivery that have fostered improvements in clinical, operational, and financial decision-making. Prior to joining Dimensional Insight, Ed held senior positions with the Lanner Group and MathWorks. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Boston College.

Nancy Berkowitz, Vice President,
Supply Chain Sales

Nancy joined Dimensional Insight in October of 2001 as an Industry Director and is now responsible for supporting DI's business activities in all Supply Chain related industries. She brings more than 25 years of experience in the wine and spirits industry to DI and has been successful in providing customized managerial and marketing solutions to wineries, distributors, importers, and distillers at the corporate and brand levels. Nancy has held various positions in marketing and management for such companies as Gallo Wine, United Liquors, Renfield Importers, Marie Brizard USA, and Stimson-Lane. Nancy holds a BS in Marketing and Finance from Boston University and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Miami.
