Diver Basics is a core class in the DI Training Series. This class teaches important skills and terminology, reinforced with hands-on-labs. Users will learn to
navigate, access data, select how the data is displayed, and generate simple reports.
Topics Covered:
- Users will learn how to dive, access data, select data display options, export data, and save work
- Terminology of Diver (Dive Window, Model, Display Types, and Navigation)
- Diving, Filters, Sorts, Find, and Focus
- Working in Diver (Tabulars, Basic Reports, Basic Charts)
- NetDiver functionality is covered, although students may use either NetDiver or ProDiver

Prerequisites:
Students are expected to be familiar with the Microsoft Windows® platform and a browser. Experience with Microsoft Excel®, or similar products, is a plus.
Who Should Attend:
This class is designed for users holding General or Advanced Level of Functionality licensing as their first introduction to Diver. |

Diver Intermediate is a core class in the DI Training Series. This class teaches important skills and terminology, reinforced with hands-on workshops. This class goes beyond just presenting your data to include the tools of analysis.
Topics Covered:
- Users will go beyond just getting data from Diver, and begin to use Diver as an analysis tool
- Review of Terminology and Diving Basics
- Working with columns, creating calculations
- Creating Dynamic Dimensions
- More Chart types
- Period Comparison
- ProDiver is the end-user client used in this class

Prerequisites:
Students are expected to have taken Diver Basics.
Who Should Attend:
This class is designed for Analysts designated as ProDiver Users (Diver Advanced Level of Functionality) and those users who support The Diver Solution™. |

diver advanced |

This class delivers advanced features of the Diver interface including Time Series, creating QuickViews, and more practice creating columns. This class is intended for the Power User.
Topics Covered:
- Time Series (Model structure, Dimension options, date roll-up)
- QuickViews (general, dependency, values settings, editing window information)
- DivePlans (advanced calculations, exception reporting, required Dimensions, saving Markers as external DivePlans)
- Customizing (DiveBooks, toolbar, preferences)

Students are expected to have taken Diver Intermediate.
Who Should Attend:
This class is designed for students who have had extensive experience using Diver. Students are expected to be Power Users holding Advanced Level of Functionality licensing that have a need for using advanced options. |

Report Writer is a workshop-based class designed for the Power User interested in learning how to go beyond the default Report View. This class will give users an opportunity to unlock several different types of reports and use Diver's advanced reporting features with ease. (Please note: This class does not include Report Palette.)
Topics Covered:
- Exception coloring with ranges
- Adding new summaries to existing reports
- Understanding breaklevels
- Deleting and adding items to reports
- Using report templates
- Customization options, such as adding links and graphics
