This class presents best practices and further explains advanced features of DivePort, DI's Web server client. DivePort is used to deliver reports and provide a portal to The Diver Solution™ suite via a user's browser. Class examples are limited to the Microsoft Windows® environment.

• How to configure DivePort (including environments)
• Functionality of the various portlets available
• How to implement optional portal security
• Creation of pages that are customized for user's needs

Prerequisites:

Students are required to have experience creating and maintaining Diver Markers. Students should take DiveLine Administration prior to this class, and are expected to be able to perform System Administration tasks within their production environment.

DiveLine Administration is a required class for the IS person or individuals responsible for the installation and maintenance of the client-server architecture. This class teaches the student the considerations that must be taken into account prior to installing DI client-server architecture in a Microsoft Windows® environment.
