Welcome!

Thank you for participating in the Dimensional Insight online healthcare community! The community uses social networking technology to encourage collaboration among Dimensional Insight healthcare customers. It also provides Dimensional Insight with a way to communicate directly with healthcare customers and partners on issues that are specific to business intelligence in healthcare. Participation in the community is restricted to active Dimensional Insight customers, partners and staff to ensure high levels of both quality and consistency in community content.

The primary objectives of the site are to:

• Encourage Dimensional Insight customers to interact with one another around the issues related to business intelligence in healthcare
• Facilitate active discussions on topics of shared interest
• Provide a means for posing and answering questions relevant to the community
• Enable Dimensional Insight to communicate directly with healthcare customers and partners as a group

Participation

If you are employed by an organization that has an active customer or partner agreement with Dimensional Insight, we invite you to join the community. If you meet this requirement, please follow the steps below to get started:

• Sign up to become a member of the community by choosing "Create a New Account" from the community's main page. Please use your full name as your Username (with a space between first and last). This will readily identify you as the contributor when you post content.
• Dimensional Insight will review your request and approve it as appropriate. You'll receive an email with instructions as to how to log on.
• Once your account is active, you can post content (forum entries and library articles.)  DI may also ask you to post a "Guest Blog Entry" from time to time. In this case, you'll receive an additional content option called Privileged Content to post blog entries.

Types of Content

• Forum entries: discussion threads on specific healthcare topics
• Library articles: more formal structured content related to a particular topic
• Blog posts: typically posted by DI on a regular schedule alternated with guest blog posts by other community members

Notification

You have two ways to stay abreast of changes to community:

• email subscription to a daily digest of all changes to  community content
• RSS feeds to specific areas of the community for continuous notification of changes to community content

The "Spirit of the Community"

Dimensional Insight's goal is to provide a positive, supportive and meaningful forum for the exchange of information and ideas in the Dimensional Insight healthcare community.  Content that is inconsistent with this spirit will not be allowed. Dimensional Insight will monitor community content for inappropriate content and will communicate directly with members responsible for posting the content.

Moderators

Dimensional Insight encourages all community members to actively engage in forum discussions and reply to other content postings. Dimensional Insight staff will initially moderate discussions as necessary, but also encourages community members to volunteer as moderators for forum topics in which they have a particular interest.
