Training OverviewDownload the Dimensional Insight training offerings brochure Dimensional Insight offers a comprehensive series of training courses that will help users and IS/IT staff to fully understand and benefit from the power of the software products. Training courses are delivered at our Corporate Training Center in Burlington, MA, on-site at customer facilities, or via the Web. Courses can also be customized to meet specific and unique customer needs. Dimensional Insight Corporate Training CenterThroughout the year, DI schedules a series of open enrollment courses at our Burlington Training Center. Hands-on experience is an essential part of the learning process. We emphasize practice sessions in order to provide the opportunity to experiment with newly learned skills while the support of an expert is available. Each participant has the sole use of a workstation, and class numbers normally do not exceed ten students. On-Site TrainingDI offers customers an on-site training option where a Training Consultant, who is an expert in Diver and business analysis, comes to your location. Students are provided generic course materials, with the trainer and students using their own data for class examples and workshops. Diver functionality specific to customer's own implementation and needs is presented. On-site Training is recommended for four to twenty-five employees. Web Based TrainingDimensional Insight trains students on-line via our hosted Web based meeting platform, enabling your users to navigate through the software while sitting at their desk. A limited subset of courses is available for on-line training. This approach is most efficient for companies that have up to twelve users who are motivated to learn, yet geographically dispersed. The courses are divided into three, two-hour sessions. These are planned with the customer to meet the needs of students' busy schedules. Two recommended plans are: same two-hour period each week for three weeks, or a two-hour time block Monday, Wednesday, and Friday within the same week. Dimensional Insight handles the disbursement of software and training materials, logistical information, and meeting reminders to each student (if provided with student contact information). Prior to each session the student is provided with a session manual that follows the course outline. Model data can be provided, or the customer may elect for the instructor to illustrate examples using their DiveLine Models. Since interaction is limited by the medium, students are given "homework" exercises to try on their own between sessions. The Instructor is available between sessions via email to answer questions. During the session students are encouraged to interact with the instructor through their questions and willingness to take control of the interface. Dimensional Insight is pleased to offer this option in addition to traditional training in order to serve the diverse needs of our customers. Customized TrainingWith a minimum of 30 days notice and scheduling availability, Dimensional Insight can fully customize any training materials to include your Data Models and DiveBooks. Students will learn to use the products while actually seeing and interacting with their own real business information. This will enhance the learning experience and allow users to understand how the Dimensional Insight products will help them every day. This gives you the ability to have your own examples in the course material and the right to make as many copies as you desire.
