Why Get Certified?

Besides the cool certficate and certification pin there are many reasons why DI users should consider becoming certified!

The Dimensional Insight Certification Program recognizes individuals who have obtained superior knowledge and skills with various DI solutions. This program allows users to achieve higher levels of expertise and demonstrate their proficiency as a Diver in a formal arena.

Certified Divers are also eligible for training discounts. Level 1 Certified Divers have the opportunity to receive up to a 10% discount on training courses that would lead to their Level 2 certification. But, most of all, Certified Divers maximize your existing investment in Dimensional Insight, helping your user community deliver the very best from your business.

Program Requirements

The program currently offers four levels of certification. Each level has different criteria, examinations, or projects associated with achieving certification. Individual certification is renewed on an annual basis.

Level 1 - Certified Diver
A fully competent power user who is qualified to create customized end-user reports.

  • Complete 2 training courses
  • Take and pass assessment exam
  • Complete scenario-based exercises within 30 days

There are two available tracks for Level 2 Certification:
Level 2 - DiveLine Administrator
Can implement and maintain a DiveLine installation for authentication and authorization to Models.

  • Successfully complete Level 1 courses and projects
  • Complete 1 course: DiveLine System Administration
  • Take and pass assessment exam
  • Demonstrate skills with a scenario-based exercise set

Level 2 - Model Designer
Has an in-depth understanding of the Dimensional Insight data flow, can modify existing customer scripts, and maintain an existing implementation.

  • Successfully complete Level 1 courses and projects
  • Complete 2 courses: Model Design and a Data Integrator course
  • Take and pass assessment exam
  • Demonstrate skills with a scenario-based exercise set

Level 3 - DI Developer
Capable of implementing the Dimensional Insight solution on a specific platform.

  • Successfully complete Level 1 and 2
  • Attended recent DI course work
  • Complete an implementation project monitored by DI's Integration Staff
  • Demonstrate DI's best practices implementation within project
  • Attend DI Users' Conference

Level 4 - Master Developer
Exhibits proficiency in DI implementation practices and solutions across multiple platforms.

  • Successfully complete Level 1, 2 and 3
  • Demonstrate a "live project"
  • Demonstrate experience on multiple platforms
  • Broad experience with DI components
  • Have at least 1 year active experience with DI products/implementation
  • Attend DI Users' Conference
  • Actively participate in knowledge transfer with DI
