InterReport provides Bogle Vineyards with a proactive self-service reporting platform, enabling users a higher level of data transparency. This enhanced visibility has allowed Bogle to more effectively allocate products at the distributor-level, leading to better overall sales performance. Through the use of a simple web-based interface, Dimensional Insight’s On-Demand BI Solution provides users with immediate access to key information enabling them to better manage and track their businesses, regardless of whether data originates from spreadsheets, extract files, ERP systems, third-party data aggregators, or other relational databases. The platform gives Bogle the power and flexibility of DI’s flagship reporting and analysis interface, Diver™, in a hosted environment. “Diver gives us the ability to take large amounts of data – combine and sort it in a meaningful way – and then displays it back to us in simplified format. It allows us to see what is really going on with our business; as a result we are identifying trends much more quickly. I can see who my customers are, but I can also quickly identify lost business and then investigate what happened,” states Sam Bon, National Sales Manager. “Diver’s power is in the organization of the data. While Dimensional Insight offers both traditional and hosted/Software as a Service (SaaS) options, Bogle Vineyards opted to implement the On-Demand model. The end-to-end, hosted business intelligence package allows Bogle to integrate shipment data from Thunderpack’s Wine Inventory Management System (WIMS) with brand performance data from Beverage Data Network (BDN). Retail account data is cleaned, organized, and automatically collected from BDN and merged with shipment data. Depletion, shipment, and various account-level reports (by channel, account type, state, etc.) are automatically generated when new data is available. Bogle Vineyards now has the ability to see actual product movement data from wholesale distributors, tracked to specific on and off premise retail accounts, through the InterReport solution. This allows for Bogle to compare account level data variances (by cases and percent) year-to-date versus last year-to-date, among many other permutations. By creating, reviewing, and monitoring this data, the organization is able to view the state of the company in a dashboard view, maintaining greater accuracy in the financial realm and allowing for a more streamlined decision making process.
